Hi, I’m Taylor! I’m a Los Angeles based multi-hyphenate artist with a BFA in Theatre Studies from Texas Christian University (go frogs!). I have a passion for stage management and acting, but can also hang and focus a light plot, do a triple time step, and paint a mean brick wall. My friends like to joke that I'm a modern Renaissance woman!

I’m an enneagram 6w5, an ISFJ, and am often compared to almost every loyal, sassy, funny, and quirky best friend character in tv and film (think Molly in Booksmart). I grew up taking elementary school children’s theatre way too seriously, playing the violin in orchestra, and learning the guitar so I could sing Taylor Swift songs. I love to make people laugh, have seen all of Parks and Rec eight times, and always say you will never be hungry at the Bockrath house. I feel very strongly that food is the missing sixth love language.

After moving back home to LA, I started working as a freelance stage manager and stagehand at venues like La Mirada Theatre, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Musical Theatre West, and AMDA. I also substitute teach at a local K-12 school and teach singing and acting to kids, combining my love for theatre and education. (I bet you’d be hard pressed to find someone who managed to use the importance of arts education as a research topic more times than me). I’ve also spent the past four summers vocal directing musicals and teaching foundational singing technique to 4th-9th grade students. Beyond that, I can usually be found in the kitchen cooking, watching the sunset over the ocean, and knocking restaurants off my ever-growing bucket list.
